About Me
I'm Louisa Freisenbruch, a mother of three, and after spending 23 years living in Bermuda, I'm now settled in the beautiful North Dorset countryside.
I've always been fascinated by people — what motivates us, why we do the things we do, how we navigate life's ups and downs and what helps us feel happy and fulfilled.
Sport and exercise have also been a big part of my life. Growing up in a family of squash and tennis players, I developed a love of being active from an early age. These days, you'll often find me on a tennis or pickleball court, doing Pilates or strength training, or out walking in the countryside.
But my interests extend well beyond exercise. I'm equally interested in nutrition, psychology, relationships, careers, personal development and the everyday habits that shape our lives.
For me, that's what Fusion Whole Life is all about — recognising that our physical health, mindset and wider lives are interconnected, and that there's much more to our wellbeing than any one aspect of life.
My Journey
I've always had a genuine interest in people — what makes us tick, what motivates us, why we do the things we do and how our experiences shape the way we think, feel and live our lives.
Before having my children, I spent many years working in recruitment and executive search within the insurance and reinsurance industry, both in London and Bermuda.
Much of my work involved interviewing, listening, understanding people's motivations and helping them navigate career decisions and changes in direction. It was always the human side of recruitment that I particularly enjoyed.
During my years in Bermuda, I also ran a small business painting and refinishing furniture, which gave me the opportunity to explore my creative side and experience running my own business.
Alongside this, I've always had a strong interest in psychology, behaviour, mindset and personal development.
My love of sport and exercise eventually led me to qualify as a Pilates Teacher and Personal Trainer, followed by Nutrition Coaching. But through my time working with clients, and my natural curiosity and interest in people, I came to recognise that there is so much more going on in someone's life than what first brings them through the door.
Conversations that begin with exercise, fitness or eating habits can naturally lead to discussions about work, relationships, family, confidence, stress or simply wondering what comes next.
As clients opened up about different aspects of their lives, I began to see just how interconnected everything is. What's happening in one area can have a significant impact on others. Challenges in one part of our lives can affect our wellbeing, relationships, motivation or confidence. Equally, making a positive change in one area can create a powerful ripple effect, bringing benefits to other parts of our lives, sometimes in ways we hadn't anticipated.
After all, we can have the best exercise programme or nutrition plan in the world, but if we're stressed, exhausted or unhappy, putting those good intentions into practice can be surprisingly difficult.
And sometimes what we want to change has nothing to do with exercise or food. It might be our career, relationships, confidence or simply what we want from the next chapter of our lives.
I've come to believe that our health, happiness and sense of fulfilment rarely come from just one area of life.
This understanding, together with my longstanding interest in human behaviour and personal development, inspired me to begin professional training in Life Coaching and develop Fusion Whole Life.
What really excites me about coaching is the opportunity to work alongside people as they make positive changes in their lives. Whether that's improving their health, shifting their mindset, building confidence, overcoming obstacles or changing their circumstances, I find the potential for personal growth and change genuinely exciting.
Fusion Whole Life brings together my experience and interests in movement, nutrition, psychology and personal development. It offers the flexibility to focus on one particular area or explore how different aspects of life connect, depending on what matters most to you.
Ultimately, it's about helping people make positive, meaningful changes that work for them.
What I love most about coaching is how it helps people see what's possible and supports them in making it happen.

One of the things that fascinates me most is the gap between knowing what might be good for us and actually doing it.
Most of us already know that moving more, eating well, getting enough sleep and managing stress can make a difference to our health and wellbeing. And often, we have a pretty good idea of what we'd like to change in other areas of our lives too.
But knowing something and consistently putting it into practice in a busy, imperfect life are two very different things.
Why do we sometimes get in our own way? What influences our decisions? Why do we keep returning to habits or patterns we'd like to change? And what helps us make changes that genuinely last?
I'm particularly interested in behaviour change, motivation, mindset and the stories we tell ourselves — including the excuses we sometimes make!
I don't believe in perfection, rigid rules or one-size-fits-all solutions.
I believe in understanding ourselves better, recognising what gets in the way and finding realistic approaches that fit our individual circumstances.
Because the changes we're most likely to maintain are usually the ones that work with our lives, rather than against them.

I believe the best starting point is understanding you.
We all have different circumstances, priorities, experiences and motivations. What works brilliantly for one person may be completely wrong for another.
Whether we're working together through Pilates, Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching or Life & Wellbeing Coaching, my approach is supportive, practical and personal.
Sometimes that means sharing knowledge, teaching a new skill or offering guidance. At other times, it means listening, asking questions and giving you the space to explore your own thoughts, challenges and possibilities.
I recognise that our physical health, nutrition, mindset, relationships, work and everyday habits can all influence one another. But that doesn't mean we need to change everything at once.
You might come to me purely for Pilates, nutrition support or life coaching. Equally, you might find that exploring one area naturally leads to another. The choice is always yours.
You don't need to be fit, confident, organised or have everything figured out before we begin.
My aim is to meet you where you are and work alongside you to find an approach that suits your needs and goals.
Above all, I believe change should be realistic, sustainable and, wherever possible, enjoyable too!

Whilst I enjoy working with people at different stages of life, I have a particular interest in supporting people through midlife.
It's a stage of life that can bring significant change — physically, emotionally, personally and professionally.
Changing family dynamics, children becoming more independent, evolving relationships, career transitions, ageing parents and questions about identity or what comes next can all influence how we feel about ourselves and our lives.
For women, perimenopause and menopause can bring additional challenges, and I'm particularly passionate about helping women understand the importance of movement, strength and good nutrition for their long-term health, independence and wellbeing.
But I'm equally interested in the wider questions that midlife can bring, for both men and women.
What matters to us now? Are we still doing things because we've always done them? What might we want more of, or less of, in the years ahead?
For me, midlife isn't simply about maintaining our physical health. It can also be an opportunity to reassess our priorities, rediscover interests, explore new possibilities and make more conscious choices about how we want to live.
And I certainly don't believe our best years have to be behind us!
