My Approach to Strength and Movement

It's not just about how you look. It's about what your body can do.

I believe strength, flexibility, mobility and balance all play an important role in keeping us moving well, feeling good and maintaining our independence throughout life.

That's why I chose to qualify as both a Personal Trainer and a Pilates Mat and Reformer Teacher, recognising the different but complementary benefits each discipline offers.

Strength training is a non-negotiable for me. Maintaining muscle and strength as we age isn't just about fitness or appearance. It's about supporting our long-term health, staying capable and giving ourselves the best chance of living an active, independent life.

My Fusion approach draws on different types of exercise to find a combination that benefits you, suits your lifestyle and, importantly, that you enjoy. I'm a firm believer in variety, not only for its physical benefits but because keeping things interesting can make a real difference to motivation and consistency.

Whether you're new to exercise, returning after a break or already active, we can explore what works for you. That might mean Pilates, strength training, a combination of both, or guidance on incorporating more movement into everyday life.

Through teaching, coaching, encouragement and accountability, my aim is to help you build confidence, overcome barriers and develop an enjoyable, flexible and sustainable approach to movement.

Because the best exercise programme is one that benefits you — and that you'll actually stick with.
